The joint venture of RWE and TURCAS accepted the challenge to construct and operate a 775 MW gas-fired combined-cycle power plant in Kaklik, Denizli. The partnership of two highly qualified companies ensures that the new power plant is designed according to modern, innovative and environmentally friendly international standards, while at the same time fulfilling the specific requirements of the Turkish energy market. This state-of-the-art CCGT power plant, with an efficiency rate of over 55 percent, will make a significant contribution to security of electricity supply in Turkey. Shanahan Engineering currently have 6 personnel on site.
