The Company operates three distinct service divisions:  1. Construction & Construction Management Services; 2. Maintenance and Outage Management Services and 3. Technical Consultancy Field Services.  The Company has offices in Ireland, Japan, United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey and the United States. Since 1979 Shanahan Engineering has been involved in some of the largest power projects in the world with leading and cutting edge technology. Today the Company maintains over 4000MW's of power generation equipment (CCGT) across the British Isles.

The Company has invested in its procedures for quality, welding and project controls. It boasts a full compliment of P.E.D. / A.S.M.E. qualified weld procedure specifications (WPS) and recently aquired the A.S.M.E. "A" and "PP" stamps for boiler repair and erection. The Company has also developed its own in-house tracking system for commercial management of complex projects.
