Shanahan Engineering recognises the need for a Centre of Excellence in the UK

Shanahan Engineering’s Technical Field Services Division has recently mobilized personnel in support of the Brazi Project in Romania.
The project comprises an 860 MW combined cycle plant and includes 2 GE 9FB gas turbines, a GE 209D steam turbine, three hydrogen-cooled generators, two heat recovery steam generators and a Mark VI integrated control system. The new plant is located at Petrom’s refinery, located near Ploieşti, Romania, approximately 60 kilometers from Bucharest.
