Shanahan Engineering is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. The Company also has international offices in the following locations:
Dublin – Shanahan Engineering Head Office. Opened in 1979 in Blackrock, the company is run from here. Shanahan Engineering's core operations are organised from here, our Finance, HR, Business Development, Management and Engineering frontline staff are based here.
Japan – This office is based in Takasago, adjacent to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ main Gas Turbine Plant. There are two sales consultants based in Japan providing sales support for Japanese based clients, including Hitachi, BHK, Marubeni, Toshiba and MHI.
Italy – The Florence office was established in 2005 to support ongoing projects in Italy and also the Company’s Italian based clients. The office is staffed by a business manager and an administrator.
UK – The Company has an office based in Leeds to service UK clients and the UK operations & maintenance business. The office is staffed by a business manager, human resources manager and an administrator.
Turkey – This office was established in 2009 as a base for Turkey, Asia and the Middle East Region. There is one construction business manager operating from this office.
South Africa - This office was established in 2010. We have a management team working on developing our business within South Africa in this office.
Representative Offices
US – The Company has a registered subsidiary in the US and operates a local payroll. There are two US based sales consultants supporting US based clients, in particular, GE and Siemens. In addition the Company has a US based sourcing business manager with responsibility for sourcing personnel primarily for the Technical Field Services business.
Poland – The Company has a Polish based sourcing business manager which has been a particular success in sourcing qualified tradesmen for construction projects.
Switzerland – The Swiss based sales consultant provides sales support for sales opportunities throughout Europe working closely with Alstom in particular.
Argentina – The Company has a registered entity in this region.
In Qatar and Oman the Company employs a local agent to facilitate local business.
