Company History
From 1979 to present day
Shanahan Engineering was founded in 1979 with
a distinct focus on the continent's big Power-Generation
projects. Since then we have grown consistently,
reflecting the market sectors we serve.
In the 1980’s our business extended beyond
Europe into the Middle East. Our first field-services
contracts on large power projects in Saudi Arabia
and Egypt established our international credentials.
Major Power-Generation and Oil & Gas projects
in West Africa followed. By the early 1990s we
had penetrated the American market, now one of
our most active.
The late 1990s found our engineers working in
an array of international locations, among them,
Argentina, Angola, Bahrain, Britain, China, Korea,
Nigeria, Malaysia, and Turkey. We had achieved
our aim: Shanahan Engineering became an international
market leader, operating in the Power-Generation,
Oil & Gas, Industrial-Process and Renewable
Energy sectors, in every corner of the globe. |
