   Power Plant Maintenance

Shanahan Engineering has been involved in all aspects of power plant maintenance and refurbishment since it’s inception in 1979.

The range of activities we will undertake in power plant maintenance varies from full long term services agreements, such as the contracts we have on the Saltend and Dam Head Creek projects in the UK, where we provide complete management, supervision and craft labour for the maintenance of over 2000 MW of power, to the provision of technical advisors for the supervision of power plant maintenance, including gas turbine maintenance, steam turbine maintenance, generator maintenance, boiler inspection and HRSG inspection world wide.

Within the scope of gas turbine maintenance, steam turbine maintenance and generator maintenance, our long-term relationships with the major OEM’s allow us to keep up with the latest developments in technology and specifically power plaint maintenance technology. This ensures that we can provide services covering the complete range of power equipment from the oldest simple cycle gas turbines to the most modern combined cycle gas turbine power plants and the oldest single stage steam turbines to the most modern reheat units.

Also, in the areas of HRSG inspection and refurbishment and boiler inspection and refurbishment, we have engineers assigned directly with the major suppliers of this equipment allowing us to maintain a world class standard as a provider of these services.
