Shanahan Engineering was contracted to provide Construction Management and Technical Direction services throughout the pre-construction planning, construction and commissioning phases of this project, comprised of 3 x MHI 701F Gas Turbines in single shaft combined cycle configuration with 3 x MHI Steam Turbines and 3 x AE&E HRSGs.  The Shanahan Engineering site team of Managers and Technical Advisors were responsible for overseeing the site assembly of the component form Gas and Steam Turbines, and the installation of main plant associated equipment through to commercial operation.
 
Shanahan Engineering is currently Maintenance Contractor on this plant, with overall responsibility for all Scheduled and Emergency Maintenance on the “Power Island” equipment.  Project Management and Resident Staff manage the Availability Guarantees for our customer, and support the Owner in the daily Operation of the plant.  Shanahan Engineering provide Supervision, Craft Labour and Tooling for all Scheduled and Emergency Maintenance work. The scope of service includes Gas Turbine Combustor Inspections, Turbine Inspections and Major Inspections, as required over the contract term.
