Shanahan Engineering was appointed as General Contractor responsible for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Works related to two ESB Peaking Plants at Aghada, Cork and at Asahi, Mayo, Ireland.  Equipment at each of the 50MW plants includes Pratt & Whitney FT8 Swiftpac Units.  Shanahan Engineering was responsible for the successful execution of the project scope from pre-construction planning through to commercial operation.
