Shanahan Engineering was appointed as General Contractor responsible for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Works related to the Peaking Plant at the ESB Rhode Power Station. Equipment includes two Pratt & Whitney FT8 Swiftpac Units, with a combined output of 104MW. Shanahan Engineering was responsible for the successful execution of the project scope from pre-construction planning through to commercial operation.
